We are proud that our editorial team and main contributors are all well versed in the preservation movement, mostly hands-on which gives them a real in-depth knowledge of the subject.
Brian Gooding, Editor
The team is led by Editor Brian Gooding, who has 25 years experience of editing heritage magazines, and was the launch editor of Vintage Spirit from 2002. He is a Trustee and long term volunteer of the Hollycombe Working Steam Museum in Hampshire, as well as owner of a Babcock steam roller. He is also Editor of the annual Steam Heritage Guide, and the house magazines of the Transport Trust and Historic Commercial Vehicle Society.
Regular writers for Vintage Spirit include Ken Rimell, Bob Weir, Peter Brockington and Peter Hammond, all of whom have been contributing for many years.
The Mail Order side of the magazine is run by Barbara Ward, who knows the preservation movement well.
